I am your typical taurus kind of woman, very earthy, sensual, solid, rock steady. I love the earth, the soil , the plants , the animal , the bird, the insect, family that are a part of my world.Rocks and crystals abound in my home on my person and in our semi truck, I always have a stone in pocket or wearing one of my dear friends around my neck.Plants abound at home in pots even though I am not always there to enjoy them,to have smelly herbs around me just heals the soul, I love the wind in my hair, the sun on my face and the smell of lilacs and honeysuckle in the air. I love gardening, getting soil in my nails, and feeling the cool just plowed soil between my toes. I love the crickets, and peepers songs in the late evening and the robin song early in the mornings. I love walking on fresh dew covered lawns. I am extremely excited and enjoy a wonderful thunder storm and the smell of rain in the air. I am awed when I see a buzzard or vulture as they seem to just aimlessly float and soar in the heavens, such wonderful and interesting creatures they are, I have a couple that live near my home, and when I go outside they will fly real low as if to greet me and to say hello. The hawk as she sits on the electric poles as if they stand guard over the earth, I always feel safe when they are on guard for nothing misses their gaze. The wonder of a Raven, they are so nosey, and curious and will investigate anything, nothing escapes their eyes, they are awesome , dark as night, , they love to be out and about in the drizzle and mist of the early mornings and late of day , seeing what they might get a hold of, and what tasty morsel was left them over night along side of the highways, Nothing in the natural world is wasted, road kill, is such a joy and gift for the whole raptor family, foxes and coyotes have learned to have their dens close to roads for there is always easy pickings to be gleaned from the hazard of vehicle against animal. In the harsh times of winter the highways are always a buffet table laid out for them so that they will not spend the day in hunger, yes they have adapted to mankind very well.It is wonderful to see a farmer till the fields and then to see hawks and crows and ravens and falcons follow along behind the tractor to see what the farmer has turned up behind him, yes they are adapting well. They have taught me a wonderful lesson as I watch the world go by through the windshield of a semi truck, they have shown me that we must adapt or die, we must always be ready to jump at any opportunity that will come your way, but you must act fast, and you must be alert, cause sometimes you may not get that opportunity again. but the greatest lesson is the our Mother the Earth takes care of her own.
