Walking this path consists of achieving an understanding and awareness of how all things are infused with THE DIVINE energy (the Tao)and that we are all connected and how all of us are related. Once you truly gain this awareness, you then are able to tap into this wonderful and awesome Divine energy and everything will then begin to fall into place like the pieces of a jig saw puzzle. It is at this point when you can begin to "work magick" because now you understand how "magick works." It is within you and always has been. You just need to realize it. Walking this spirtual path is not as hard and dificult as some so called 'teachers' would have you to know, for if it was expressed as easy, and something anyone can do, then they would not be needed , right? When we embark on any path we are told that what is needed is desire, and will, and for some spiritual teachers some money. for payment......... but,most of all being able to set one's priorities in order. Here is a story to illustrate my point.

 THE STORY

One day, an expert in time management was speaking to a group of business students and, to drive home a point, used an illustration those students will never forget. As he stood in front of the group of high-powered overachievers he said, "Okay, time for a quiz," and pulled out a one-gallon, wide-mouth mason jar and set it on the table in front of him. He also produced about a dozen fist-sized rocks and carefully placed them, one at a time, into the jar. When the jar was filled to the top and no more rocks would fit inside, he asked, "Is this jar full?" Everyone in the class yelled, "Yes." The time management expert replied, "Really?" He reached under the table and pulled out a bucket of gravel. He dumped some gravel in and shook the jar causing pieces of gravel to work themselves into the spaces between the big rocks. He then asked the group once more, "Is the jar full?" By this time the class was on to him. "Probably not," one of them answered. "Good," he replied. He reached under the table and brought out a bucket of sand. He started dumping the sand in the jar and it went into all of the spaces left between the rocks and the gravel. Once more he asked the question, "Is this jar full?" "No," the class shouted. Once again he said, "Good!" Then he took a pitcher of water and began to pour it in until the jar was filled to the brim. Then he looked at the class and asked, "What is the point of this illustration?" One eager beaver raised his hand and said, "The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, if you try really hard you can always fit more things in it!" "No," the speaker replied, "that's not the point. The truth is what this illustration teaches us is this: If you don't put the big rocks in first, you'll never get them in at all. What are the "big rocks" in your life? Time with your loved ones? Your faith? Your education? Your dreams? A worthy cause? Teaching or mentoring others? Remember to put these big rocks in first or you'll never get them in at all. So, tonight or in the morning, when you are reflecting on this short story, ask yourself this question, "What are the big rocks in my life? Then, put those in your jar first!"

So how does setting ones priority in order help you to stand on one's spiritual path? I believe that the 'BIG ROCKS' in ones life are : FAMILY,RELATIONSHIP , AND GOD/DESS, SELF, if these large rocks are placed first in ones life then everything else that is important to you will fall into place as well. Walking a spiritual path, is innate in all of us, the Supreme Soverign Spirit has placed in all of us that hunger and desire to be in at-one-ment with HER. It is what comes natural to all of us, believe it or not. So just how does one grow, and develop on ones path? Diligence , patience, trust, focus, and being in the magical space called 'eternal' which we can all step into when we are focused in the present moment which is called 'The Eternal NOW". It means walking in the spirit with awareness. Now specifically, when one walks on the path of the Wise, or any Earth based spirituality ,when one sets out on these Magical paths ,you start out by focusing ones awareness on the elements of the natural world around you ,sensing the differences of energy around you in accordance with the phases of the moon and the seasons of the earth, by focusing on the diversity of life that is all around you, taking note on how the natural world is always in at-one-ment with their Source, and that they never live in the past nor the future but remain focused in the present moment of NOW ,Simply put, it does not make a whole lot of sense for the novice on any path to want to command the forces of nature and the universe out there and the universe that is within them, if one does not fully comprehend or understand that these forces are all around us and within us. Not to be in awareness of this is to only invite failure and discouragement and the inability to be successful in ones endeavors in life . So how does any one walk a spiritual path and do it successfully? Set priorities in life, get out of doors daily and tune in to the world that is around you , focus, and be in awareness of the moment, to do so opens the door to the realm of the Eternal which is beyond time and space. Many folks beleives that Eternity is time non ending, but ETERNITY is a state of being, it is At-one-ment with the Source of life, and you do that just by beeeeing in the moment, and beeeing in awareness that the Source of life which is hiding within you......shhhhh!..........don't let that secret out , because then what would all the so called "teachers' be able to profit from if they could no longer peddle for finacial gain the things of Spirit.
