OH MY GOOODDD! Me and hubby just got home off the road, and this morning we went up to K.C. Mo. to visit my youngest 'unmarried' daughter who is in the process of buying a house, we went up to check out the 3 she picked out to see if there was anything wrong with them. Number 1 . the prices, oh my godd. what in the hell is this, homes for 97,000 to 109,000  that were no better than the cheap old home we live on out in the country 5 hours south of k.c. in fact better than at least 2 of them , we paid about 30 thous. 15 years ago, but  these homes are  NOT worth THAT MUCH, where in the hell have I been?. the first home the basement had water every where, the carpets were trashed, the  walls sucked,  the roof was wavy for petes sakes, the second house for 97 was just remodled and this is the one we picked, and the third house wow, what are these people thinking? the second house was cute, but hey the price they  say is a steal , but in our neck of the woods, maybe 55,000,,but up in the city its a steal . Prices are out the roof, man how in the hell do people make it? What an eye opener for us. and taxes 1200 dollars and our taxes are just under 400 and we have 3 acres and a 3 b edroom home..........man , this is sad sad sad. We went up there to help her go through the homes and not get cheated. to help her walk through the process. we left out home at 4 am and got at her apartment at 9:30 and left around 4pm and got home this eve at 9pm. so maybe we can rest tomorrow before we head back out saturday.................... we were parents again for the day now its back to just me and him.............. 

boy what a wake up, I think I like my home even better now that I see what you can get for the money..............
